Also written: Chan series · Chanthaburi hybrids · Chanthaburi 1-10 · Chanthaburi durian

A series of registered durian hybrids bred at the Chanthaburi Horticultural Research Station by Dr. Songpol Somsri (the program began in 1979), crossing the classic varieties into distinct numbered ones, No. 1 through No. 10. Unlike the heritage durians, which were found in the wild, these were engineered for consistent, marketable traits like very low aroma, early ripening and dense flesh. Released to growers in 2006.
